Plan, organize, and participate in implementing building upgrades as part of energy performance contracting projectsDefine project scope and perform project estimatesEnsure project estimates are accurate and the project scope is executable within the budgetAssist the sales team with sales strategies and presentationsPrepare technical site visit and progress update reportsCoordination and oversee subcontractor project executionPrepare project implementation schedulesCommunicate project, subcontractor and package updates to engineering team and managementPlan and oversee startup, testing and commissioning functionsSchedule and plan subcontractor site visits and data collectionReview subcontractor BOQs and invoices for accuracy and completionVerify subcontractor completed works are in line with contract requirementsPrepare project and installation cost estimatesCreate project commissioning plans and system specific templates and tests for subcontractor testingCreate project organization charts and contact listsCoordinate with clients on project documentation, health and safety requirements and subcontractor compliancePerform risk assessment and lock-out, tag-out requirementsReview submitted consultant and contractor proposals and submissionsProvide constant communication and project progress reports to clients and management teamOversee various project consultants, contractors and internal staff during design, specification, bid, installation and management phasesCreate project RFPs based on project requirements and float them for tender and bidding in the marketManage approvals, completion of work and payment of project consultants and contractorsMake site visits to verify and confirm project equipment performance and operationWork directly with client, client staff, facilities management team and client appointed personnel to communicate, train and maintain new and existing energy equipment in the project.Research and identify industry and market best practices and techniques to implement into projectsIdentify latest technology, tools, processes and practices to help teams and clients deliver more efficientlySupport growth and strength of the company culture and structure to ensure a happy, collaborative, open and enjoyable companyMaintain organized project files and information for reporting to client, invoicing and company performance in company standards and formatAttending regular meetings ( on work progress, coordination, design, etc. ) with Main Contractor and Consultant to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions
- Monitor project budgets and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project executionCoordinate with the energy and engineering design team on all aspects of the design.Prepare periodic reports for management including status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities & safety records.Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ.Ensure that the health and safety requirements are provided and that they comply with authorities regulations.Provides guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team.Prepare program master schedule and performs critical path analysis.Prepare plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluation.Provide program planning capabilities including interfaces and risks analysis.Establish and monitor program and project controls KPI's.Ensure program policies and procedures are implemented accordingly. QualificationsBachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or Construction Engineering.Project Management certification or ability to obtain within one year of being hired.Energy Professional certification - Certified Energy Manager preferred
- 10 to 15 years experience in Energy or MEP Construction engineering position in Middle East
Salary: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
