Description
Our client, an insurance company, has an opportunity for a Customer Service Agent to join the team on a 3-month fixed term basis. Previous call centre, client support and insurance would be an advantage. Only applicants who are available to start immediately will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Query receipt and resolution
- Call management
- Customer service
- Attend to telephone queries from Insureds
- Attend to all ad-hoc tasks when required
- Check that all documents required for the claim are on the claim file
- Request outstanding documentation from the client.
- Attach documents to the claim
- Update device detail changes
- Data maintenance - ensuring system data remains updated and relevant
Requirements:
- Grade 12/NQF4
- Basic computer skills
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Well versed in business English (written and verbal)
- Communicates clearly and reasons logically
- Customer service orientation
- Respects and works well with others
- Operates as a team player
- Prioritizes, follow-up and orders work in a methodical manner
- Conscientious - meets deadlines and pays attention to detail to ensure quality
- Displays integrity and honesty
