  • Our client, an insurance company, has an opportunity for a Customer Service Agent to join the team on a 3-month fixed term basis. Previous call centre, client support and insurance would be an advantage. Only applicants who are available to start immediately will be considered.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Query receipt and resolution
  • Call management
  • Customer service
  • Attend to telephone queries from Insureds
  • Attend to all ad-hoc tasks when required
  • Check that all documents required for the claim are on the claim file
  • Request outstanding documentation from the client.
  • Attach documents to the claim
  • Update device detail changes
  • Data maintenance - ensuring system data remains updated and relevant

Requirements:

  • Grade 12/NQF4
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Well versed in business English (written and verbal)
  • Communicates clearly and reasons logically
  • Customer service orientation
  • Respects and works well with others
  • Operates as a team player
  • Prioritizes, follow-up and orders work in a methodical manner
  • Conscientious - meets deadlines and pays attention to detail to ensure quality
