Customer Service Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • To provide a primary point of contact for external customers via the phone and in written correspondence, directly resolving matters on first contact where appropriate.
  • Answer inbound and make outbound calls
  • To capture and progress customer orders
  • Supervision of a team of customer services advisors, overseeing and assessing their daily activities and providing them with regular performance-related feedback.
  • Strategizing and monitoring the daily activities of customer service operations
  • Using data, identifying potential areas for improvement, suggesting amendments, and implementing changes
  • Assisting customer service staff with duties where required.
  • Training staff in areas of customer service and company policies.
  • Monitoring and authenticating returns by using the NCR process
  • Investigating and solving customer service complaints
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of service policies and explaining these to staff and customers.
  • Maintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activities.
  • Performing additional duties where needed
