Customer Service Supervisor Responsibilities:
- To provide a primary point of contact for external customers via the phone and in written correspondence, directly resolving matters on first contact where appropriate.
- Answer inbound and make outbound calls
- To capture and progress customer orders
- Supervision of a team of customer services advisors, overseeing and assessing their daily activities and providing them with regular performance-related feedback.
- Strategizing and monitoring the daily activities of customer service operations
- Using data, identifying potential areas for improvement, suggesting amendments, and implementing changes
- Assisting customer service staff with duties where required.
- Training staff in areas of customer service and company policies.
- Monitoring and authenticating returns by using the NCR process
- Investigating and solving customer service complaints
- Assisting with the development and implementation of service policies and explaining these to staff and customers.
- Maintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activities.
- Performing additional duties where needed
