Description
Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct relevant safety training to employees and contractors
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
- Check and verify that all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations
- Review and update all existing safety programs, standards and procedures
- Ensure that all necessary Standard Operating procedures (SOPs)/work instructions are in place.
- Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
- Work with integrated health services to ensure timely medical examinations are conducted and follow up where applicable.
- Conduct risk assessment, identify safety bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
- Conduct necessary audits and assessments
- Check verification of corrective actions and leveraging preventative actions
- Facilitate root cause investigations following a defined methodology
- Conduct trend analyses, identify root causes and present information to leadership
- Perform other safety duties and responsibilities as ordered by line management.
- Degree in safety or equivalent
- A minimum of five years of experience with similar responsibilities
- Safety Experience and Knowledge
- Valid Drivers Licence
