What you'll do:
In this critical role on AlixPartners" Corporate Services team, you will be working with the Office Management & Facilities team under an Admin Support role. Your main task will be providing general support to enhance the operation of the Buenos Aires Office.
The Administrative Professional position is a full-time, 6 months temporary role, located in Buenos Aires which reports to the Office Manager. Paid relocation is not available for this position. The position may be contract-to-hire.
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilities: solve daily office related issues (manage office accesses for all employees, ensure that the working conditions are met and if not ensure that another working space is available, change light bulbs, preventive maintenance, etc.); proactive communication with technicians and landlord (such as electricians, plumbers, A/C technicians, locksmith, security personnel, etc.).
- Manage office opening, ensuring that the working conditions are met (A/C, office supplies, coffee machine working, etc.)
- Perform kitchen maintenance, including supply inventory, stocking shelves, refrigerators and emptying/filling dishwashers. Taking on minor cleaning tasks if needed.
- Maintain supplies inventory checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipates requirements, payments, expedites orders, and verifies receipt
- Distribute and organize incoming and outgoing mail to and from Buenos Aires office's employees; manage mail to and from US office as required by Office Managers.
- Constant interaction with consultants in order to ensure that their issues are solved. Receive requests and appropriately address them.
- Events: assist with event planning and logistics related to internal initiatives, recruiting, team building, etc.
Other Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to consultants such as expense reports processing, travel arrangements, complex calendaring, and expense as well as credit card statement record keeping
- Assist IT and Admin Staff in setting up conference rooms for meetings including catering, AV set up and post-meeting clean up
- Support the Corporate Services local team.
- Other duties as required and authorized by Office Manager
- Provide hoteling office space for visiting professionals and consulting staff

What you'll need:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's or higher degree preferred
- One to three years of progressively responsible administrative experience required
- Read, write, and communicate in English to perform the essential duties of the position
- Experience in a fast-paced professional services firm environment preferred
- Strong problem solving and organizational aptitude
- Highly customer service-oriented
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, take initiative, exercise judgment with mínimal supervision and manage up
- Experience working with MS Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Exceptional with communication and interpersonal interactions
- Flexibility to work unscheduled overtime as needed
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes and fixing assets as needed
- Must be able to work full time in an office environment, be physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
