Brand and Operations assistant
Stellenbosch / somerset west area
Our client, a well-established and popular local brand manufacturing a range of handcrafted leather goods is seeking an operations and brand assistant. Position is based in Stellenbosch where all products, inspired by simplicity and functionality, are exclusively made in studio.
Responsibilities include:
- Customer assistance in-store
- Handling repair/exchange requests and following them through
- Picking, packing, and processing all customer online orders
- Picking, packing, and processing all wholesale orders
- Managing wholesale relationships; following up, searching for new possible wholesalers, managing expectations
- Checking raw material stock levels and processing new orders with suppliers
- Issuing all raw materials needed for the production team
- Social media planning and posting
- Organising stock room and stock
- Stocktakes
Assistance with:
- Planning photoshoots
- Designing Instagram stories for interaction
- Designing newsletters for new product launches and news/marketing monthly
- Arranging brand collaborations like Instagram giveaways
- Communication with "brand ambassadors"
Salary: R20 000 - R22 000 pm
