About the role
We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to be responsible for processing payroll information, reviewing and performing payroll audits, and serving as a point of contact for questions about pay policies and procedures

Other Operational Duties would include
- Maintain personnel database regarding salaries
- Manage organization budget and expenses
- Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expenses
- Prepares follow-up for Stop Payment requests, manual check requests, and associated system update
- Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with customers, both internal and external
Qualifications:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
- A minimum of 5 yearsAccounting and Human Resource experience a plus
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices.
- Experience working with accounting, payroll software, HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other databases
- Experience in administration of any Time & Attendance system
- Great follow-through skills, and good with math and logic
