Regional Manager Distribution / Transport / Logistics / Supply Chain
Mbombela - Mpumalanga - South Africa
Reporting to the Operations Executive you will be required to manage the Mbombela (Nelspruit), Polokwane and Mbombela (Witbank) branches. This position operates at a middle management level. You will be required to manage and develop the Region in terms of costs, systems, structure, strategy implementation, policy-making and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
- Matric
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification /Business Management Diploma/Degree will receive a preference
- 5 years of middle to senior management experience in the road freight industry
- Knowledge of how to operate operational equipment
- Generalist management skills including finance, administration, and human resources.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate at a senior level and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent Commercial and Financial acumen
- Industrial relations skills.
- Computer Literate (MS Office at an advanced level)
