As our experienced Shrimp Farm Manager
you will be responsible for operating and maintaining one of our closed Cleantech Aquaculture
farms. We implement highest biosecurity and animal welfare standards. Continuous learning and
improvement are part of our DNA. You also find pride in growing natural and healthy shrimp in a
very sustainable way.
Your Responsibilities
- You manage the daily operation of our state-of-the-art Cleantech Recirculating Aquaculture

Farm and ensure that all is running smoothly and efficiently.

• You manage the administration of the farm.
• You will nurture the shrimps from early life to harvest, provide optimal living conditions, track

their growth, and monitor changing environmental conditions.

• You determine feed requirements and structure feeding regimes.
• You maintain the highest level of biosecurity, animal welfare and food safety.
• You conduct general maintenance, system operation, and minor repairs to keep operations

running smoothly.
- You make sure, that all equipment is in perfect working order, managing stocks and

procurement.

• You manage processing and packaging, the delivery process and logistics to and from the farm.
• You manage the cleaning process of the entire farm after each cycle and make sure that all is

ready on time to start the next cycle.
- You will train farmers who might not have the necessary aquaculture experience.

Our Requirements:

• 5+ years of having successfully managed a RAS facility.
• You take ownership for running the farm.
• You have a mindset of continuous learning and improvement.
• You have direct experience growing, monitoring and feeding the shrimps.
• You care for and nurture the shrimps and maintain highest standards in animal welfare.
• You have an open availability to include early/night shifts, weekends and/or holidays.
• You are physically fit and able, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, hard-working and selfmotivated.You have very good interpersonal and communication skills and you can work effectively as a

part of a diverse team.

• You are a good team player and can manage your ego to serve the whole.
• You are willing to stay at the farming site.
• You are proficient with computer programs.
• You have experience managing the business side of the farm.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Aquaculture, Biology, Marine Biology, Environmental or Life Sciences, etc.
• 3+ years of experience managing a farm
• Professional experience with shrimp raising.
• Proficiency in English (reading, spoken and written)
