Description
Protocol officers are responsible for ensuring that official events and ceremonies run smoothly. They ensure that all parties involved follow the proper procedures, from arranging transportation to setting up lodging. They may also be tasked with providing guidance on cultural norms and traditions to visiting dignitaries or other guests.
Protocol officers work closely with government officials, ambassadors, diplomats, and other high-ranking individuals. Their job is to make sure everyone looks good in front of the cameras—they’re often the face of their country during these events.
