Job title: Senior Process and Project Engineer

- Mission
- Vaccines Industrial Affaires (VIA) is preparing its future through an ambitious program named Evolutive Vaccine Facility (EVF). The EVF Project is at the cornerstone of Sanofi Pasteur strategy as it aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges.
She/He is in charge of the design, execution, start-up, C&Q of process equipment & technologies (USP and DSP). The scope covers the transversal process equipment (such as Autoclaves, CIPs, Washers, VHP systems, Conveyors, Media & Buffer,...) and also the core process equipment dedicated to Enzyme process. This key new role will coordinate with EVF manufacturing and EVF MTECH(MS&T) process design leader to leverage on the new paradigms of single-use based processes.
- The mission's scope includes the follow up of the external engineering company for transversal systems (Buffer & media, material prep, kitting, decontamination system, CIP) in scope of Singapore greenfield facility. The SR ETS Process & Project engineer will report to ETS Project Manager.
- Key Accountability
- Project Management
- Set appropriate targets aligned with project strategy
- Provide leadership and direction to the external companies
- Is leading Cost and Schedule for the packages under his responsibility
- Manage transversal project team (external & internal)
- Drive execution on the systems within its responsibility from basic engineering down to non-product dependent performance qualification.
- Core process engineering
- Lead design, construction, qualification of processes equipment
- Support URS creation for process systems
- Design and lead engineering studies with selected external partners
- Insure full technical project execution for core process equipment (construction, CQ, start-up)
- Support Process Engineering
- Support the design, construction, validation of the EVF infrastructure
- Support facility design (flows, risk assessments, etc )
- Support URS creation for all transversal process systems
- Accountability
- Report the predefine KPI to his management
- Accountable for planning and cost for systems under his lead
- SCOPE AND DIMENSION
- Key dimensions: Largest Project (scope > 70 M€ out of a total project cost of 700 M€). Large impact on innovation SP ambition.
- Freedom to act, level of autonomy: Numerous levers to develop and implement new technologies and ways of working, especially with external partners. Fully empowered on his/her scope of project
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Mechanical or Process Engineer.
- Broad industrial experience in the Bio pharmaceutical/Vaccines business or equivalent - 10 years in Project & Process Engineering.
- Required Experience
- Strong technical knowledge coupled with hands-on working experience in biopharmaceutical/ vaccines process and projects. Specific knowledge on: Biosafety Environment and decontamination equipment & processes and on Isolator systems
- Working experience in start-ups, commissioning & qualification of process systems in an operating plant, including Process HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA and product tech transfer.
- Individual lead contribution in small / medium project execution.
- Strong knowledge in pharmaceutical regulatory market requirements and experience in participation of Audits. Eg;
- FDA, EMA & etc.,
- Strong knowledge in project procurement to handle vendor & subcontract management, RFQ, tender review, technical and commercial bid analysis report for the projects proposed.
