Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Responsible of delivery of High level and Low level designs and documents for the proposed designs and monitoring solutions for different business services.
Work collaboratively with software engineers to deploy and operate micro-services and automate provisioning of production, testing, and staging environments within the Analytics and Machine learning landscape.
Drives improvements in day to day operations and engineering activities of the tools and automation team
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Excellent knowledge of Devops Tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, AWS, GCP, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Kubernetes and running dockerized micro-services on top of it, Linux/System administration, and “Infrastructure as Code” using Terraform.
Design, configuration, optimisation and administration of IT and network service management tools and related software and hardware like CICD E2E pipeline
Ability to build and optimize business services, business processes and IT services modelling
Understanding of Incident Management, Change Management, Capacity and Performance Management ITIL disciplines
Very good knowledge and understanding of Networks, Databases, DNS, proxies & Security.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
B.S Computer of Telecommunications Engineering or B.S Computer Science Required.
8-10 Overall Years of Experience
3Years + Experienced in solutions design, and devops solutions implementation
Technical knowledge of AWS, GCP and MS Azure, Linux, and CICD pipeline development and implementation.
Understanding of Incident Management, Change Management, Capacity and Performance Management ITIL disciplines.
Proven experience in system administration and web service test automation.
Technical knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, Object Oriented Programming languages and Test Driven Development.
Technical knowledge of SNMP, HTTP, SOAP, IPv4, IPv6 and similar network management related protocols.
Technical knowledge of XML, JDBC/ODBC, SQL, Java, JavaScript, shell, and similar network management related languages.
Solid communication Skills, Oral and Written.
Ability to grasp new technology quickly
Solid understanding of virtualization, containerization and cloud technologies
Demonstrated experience developing, deploying, and implementing devops pipelines and tools
Demonstrated experience developing system integration and automation capability to improve operational response time and accuracy in diagnosing and resolving issues.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate system efficiency, develop system performance metrics, and drive continual process improvement of IT/network management systems.
Good knowledge of backup/recovery, disaster recovery, vulnerability and patch management.
