The role:
Seeking a reliable, efficient, and experienced professional to join our Commercial Strategy team. This role supports a range of financial management activities, including Capital and Operational budget reviews, Service Cost Refreshes.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Financial management support to cost centre managers.
- Work autonomously to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines and produce accurate financial and budgetary information.
- Produce, review and reconcile financial reports, registers and other data sets using advanced analysis and other computer skills.
Respond to general customer enquiries, researching systems capability and determining if customers' requests can be met.
- Provision of advice on interpretation of Queensland Health policy & procedures.
- Manage and maintain relevant internal software tools and databases as required.
- Continually examine and evaluate relevant financial processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Activate and change approved system access for new and existing users.
Are you right for this role?
You will have a good understanding or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of accounting concepts, cost centre management at an organisational level, and financial management procedures and requirements.
You will display excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise activities to meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
