Description
*Imaging Processing Engineer *is part of the Image Processing team building and working on software systems using various types of imaging informatics and processing.
Responsibilities:
- Development of advanced image processing algorithms according to specific clinical needs.
- The ability to analyze the imaging system in detail for the selection/development of appropriate algorithms will be highly valued.
- Pre-processing algorithms to correct medical image data prior to visualization.
- Responsible for the realization and verification of medical image processing algorithms, including but not limited to segmentation, registration, 3D visualization, etc.
- Development of advanced visualization medical workstations.
- Organize analysis results and write related technical documents.
Requirements:
- BC.S in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
- +2 years of experience in a software company.
- Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
- Hands-on programming with C#.Net.
- Experience in image processing and analysis
- Familiar with DICOM standard and DICOM open-source library (dcmtk, etc.)
- Preferred Experience in using one or more open-source image libraries, such as OpenCV, ITK/VTK, etc.
- Experience in leading or participating in medical image processing software development projects preferred
- Continuous learning as required for position.
- Must be capable of consuming and understanding existing code base.
- Be challenged by obstacles; good debugging and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced interactive development environment.
