This leading University is currently replacing a key system as requires an Automation Test Analyst to design and implement an automation test suite for the new solution as well as develop manual test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing.
Key activities
- Develop end to end automation suite for progressive and regression testing to minimise the effort spent on overall testing
- Ability to automate functional scenarios using automation tools and create Automation framework/s using web test automation frameworks including Selenium
- Proactively identify technical/non-technical risks and suggest mitigation measure
- Analyse test results and recommend/implement the corrective actions
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives
- Design, create, execute, analyse automated and manual tests both for progression and regression testing
Knowledge and skills
- Minimum 3+ years of Automation Testing experience, including use of Selenium
- Experience in test tool management & Automation technologies using Jira, Qtest
- Experience in leading testing functions through the complete testing lifecycle
- Ability to collaborate with Project Management Teams and end users
- Strong time management skills including prioritisation and working across multiple teams.
- Experience working across complex large organisations - higher education or government preferred
