Moffatt & Nichol is actively looking for an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our Bogota office. This position will assist in the planning, design and plan production for general civil engineering on a wide variety of projects which may include site civil design, rough & precise grading, dredging, drainage design, utility design (sewer, water, & storm drain).

Duties and responsibilities:

- Assist in the completion of construction projects by preparing engineering design and documents and confirming specifications.
- Assist in the design of construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models.
- Assist in preparation of engineering designs by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data.
- Assist in determining project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.
- Assist in the creation of feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer or related discipline required Moff
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineer preferred
- EIT Preferred
- At least 2 years of intern or industry experience
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD
