Ekkam Foods Limited trading as Pukete Food Market is currently looking for passionate full time Retail Store Assistants to join our team based in Hamilton.
Requirements for the Role:
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to count cash and provide change accurately.
- Desire to continually develop retail sale skills and knowledge of products and service.
- Good level of physical fitness.
This job requires the ability to perform the following: frequently standing, moving and carrying or lifting items weighing up to 20kg
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Retail or merchandise experience would be an advantage.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Provide high levels of customer service and driving sales
- Assisting customers with their purchases and general queries.
- Inventory control
- Assist in stock
- take and reviewing orders.
- Receiving new deliveries from the suppliers and refilling and rotating stock.
- Stocking shelves and displaying merchandise.
- Ensure all pricing, signage and display information is correct.
- Cleaning and maintaining store standards.
- Compliance with health and safety rules and regulations.
In return we provide a competitive pay rate of $27.76 to $30per hour and great working environment. We guarantee minimum 30 hours of work each week.
