What will be your daily pursuit?:
Lead and coordinate the teams who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems for all properties.

What will you do in this job?:

  • Assisting Managers with the organizing of schedules, and work activity
  • Take direction from the Site Manager
  • Read, develop and improve SOP’s with Managers
  • Evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed
  • Performing initial evaluations of building systems and distributing work assignments
  • Organize schedules, and assign work activity
  • Train staff to ensure individuals have all the requisite skills
  • Evaluate each worker's performance to ensure quality operations
  • Investigate accidents and prepare relevant reports
  • Take direction from the Maintenance Manager
  • Attend meetings, place orders as outlined by Management in their absence
  • Attention to logs and filling them timely and properly
  • Read, develop, and improve SOP’s
  • Participate in continual personal development
  • Recognize energy conservation and make plans for improvements
  • Respond to Guest issues in a professional manner

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar field
  • Understand Housekeeping/Janitorial Maintenance of hotel properties
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to use computers and associated programs
  • Understand the importance of OHS and the Hospitality industry
  • Read and understand blue prints
