Parts specialists oversee parts departments at Trail Appliances shop. By ordering parts to various suppliers, they ensure employers have an adequate supply of equipment and parts. They monitor inventory, work with vendors to get correct parts, and help customers and internal technicians find necessary materials.
As the Parts Specialist you will...:
- Record and post parts issued to proper repair orders.
- Setup orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
- Occasionally assist management in replenishment of sold inventory.
- Work with supervisor to ensure that parts and equipment that are requisitioned by technician/ customers.
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Work with others to compile records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Log processed work into computer program or tracking system as required.
- Responsible for order entry and order management for domestic and for various suppliers
The experience we need:
- Operating Ms. Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
- Possess customer-focus skill.
- Demonstrated time management and problem solving skills.
- A multitasker and leader with a positive attitude.
- Is composed and a professional at all times.
- Will prioritize tasks and multitask.
- A natural leader with sound attention to details.
Work Environment:
- No travel required
- Work out of Annacis Island location parts & service area
