Job Overview:
Effectively conducts and facilitates assigned QHSES courses and assesses participants on defined learning outcomes / criteria

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out project training needs analysis, develop and implement project HSES training matrices, forecast, and training plans
  • Lead on the project QHSES curriculum design and development
  • Comply with the overall project QHSES training requirements i.e. relevant certifications / standards
  • Develop and maintain project QHSES Training key performance metrics
  • Identify and monitor required project training resources and ensure training facilities, equipment, records and materials are maintained
  • Complete necessary Train-the-Trainer programs.
  • Ensure training facilities and equipment are well maintained.
  • Prepare and conducts risk assessments when practical / hands-on demonstration and assessment are needed.
  • Deliver and assesses courses with integrity.
  • Complete training documentation (attendance sheet, assessment form, course evaluation form, etc.) for recording.
  • Review course feedback and escalates to Supervisor / Manager when action is required.
  • Assist on the QHSES curriculum design and development.
  • Assist on the evaluation of third party training providers when required.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma or equivalent plus NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
  • At least 5 years QHSES experience within energy industry/process industry

  • Certified Facilitator
  • Certified Assessor
  • Certified Internal Verifier
  • Certified (ISO 9001, 14001, or 45001) Internal Auditor
  • Trained on instructional and evaluation techniques
  • Knowledge of training techniques and adult learning
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
