Description
Having a technical background in farming is an advantage to include experience in overseeing or managing crop production (vegetables, fruit-bearing trees, flower fields, herbs & medicinal plants), animal / livestock tending, beekeeping, irrigation, landscaping, seed selection, and other farming technologies. Experience in GCC farms is an advantage.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and represent the management during farm events, workshops, tours, etc.
- Prepare strategic and business plans for the farm
- Oversee daily farm operations, crops, livestock, and staff
- Oversee farm budget and expenses
- Identify and research potential clients and execute on new business development and partnership opportunities
- Develop and manage close relationships with new and existing clients
- Brainstorm and present ideas based on internal analysis and market research
- Prioritize and scale revenue driving efforts
- Create and interpret common business models and have a sound knowledge of the competitive landscape
- Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills
- Assist in judgement for business and product related decisions
- Demonstrate ability to develop great presentations
- Excel in communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
- Collaborate with other staff in all aspects of farm operations.
- Build professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agriculture and farming practices and standards
- Ensure all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
- Prepare relevant reports required by the management - update on project tasks, daily activities of workers, etc.
- Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the CEO
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, or related field.
- Extensive experience in a farming-related field, especially in Qatar or Middle East countries.
- Management experience would be a plus.
- A passion for agriculture
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Excellent English communication skills and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- With a valid QID / transferable work visa (residing / located in Qatar).
- With a valid driving license.
- Available to join immediately.

Salary: QAR7,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
