About this role

SLB has an opening in Bogota, Colombia for a QA Analyst, who will be responsible for working with the IT Systems Team to perform quality testing and validation of the product.

Responsibilities

• Design & participate in the Test Plan that covers all phases of the test life cycle including test preparation, test data management, test planning, test execution and defect management.
• Execute Test Cases as per project requirement in agile environment as per plans.
• Should be able to execute test scenarios across different environments,
• Coordination with SMEs, Build & Deploy, Functional Teams for test planning, building end to end test scenarios & test execution.
• Should be able to create Test Scenarios, test cases and Test data sets for execution independently.
• Should be able to work on Automation frameworks.
• Maintain complete mapping between requirements, test cases, and defects, thereby giving the end to end traceability - TTM.
• Participate in testing related discussion in daily scrum call with different Scrum Teams.
• Support the tracking, measure, and publish progress of testing activities for every sprint.
• Implement automated testing tools into the project life cycle. Should be able to write testing scripts for test execution.
• Capable to gain expertise quickly on new tools and all assigned technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Essential qualifications_
• At a minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent. 3-5 Years of Testing experience.
• Must have experience in executing at least 2 End to End Testing projects.
• Must have experience of working in Agile methodology.
• Experience of different types of Testing - Database, Regression, Sanity, API Testing, Layered Connectivity, System Integration, Performance Testing etc.
• Mandatory experience in Automation tool. Should have at least 2-year hands on experience on one or many Test Automation tools such as - Selenium, UFT for Functional testing.
• Should have basic knowledge of automation framework / Model apps, data, object framework.
• Must have experience in Defect Management tools - Jira, VSTS, ADO (Azure devops)
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively both with technical SAP & legacy development teams, business and functional personnel in the business.
• Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to collaborate closely with other team members and work with various levels of the business community.
• Other skills and abilities_
• Self-driven, Proactive, Systems Thinking, Strong Willingness to Learn, should be a quick learner.
• Experience with complex technical solution handling complex and technology transformations.
• Knowledge of Oilfield terminology and business practices.
• Ability to work in global distributed setting.
