Welcome to our team:
In our legal team, we are looking for an intern/trainee to join us in as soon as possible for a period of 12 months. The position is in Lisbon, Portugal.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Business Practices Manager in daily activities to implement Organon compliance frameworks for local business organizations (Policies, SOPs and Guidance)
- Helping the BPM to ensure consistent and effective compliance standards are in place in the organization.
- Supporting the implementation of tracking /monitoring systems.
- Helping to prepare local training sessions on new and revised policies, processes and procedures, making sure that attendance sheets for such trainings are tracked and stored appropriately.
- Supporting the Business Practices Manager and Legal Lead with the Privacy standards - Company's Privacy Policies, Standards and Specifications and takes an active approach to ensuring that the Organization's privacy are compliant.
- Supporting the Legal Lead in daily activities, eg. contract management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in scientific discipline (e.g. Pharmacy) or in Law
- Understanding of pharmaceutical companies’ infrastructure and processes
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical legislation, pharmaceutical codes of ethics, compliance guidelines and data protection legislation
- Having high ethical standards, and personal integrity
- Proven ability to develop cooperative professional relationships within the organization
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Language - Must be fluent in English and Portuguese
