- site inspections sample Collection, testing and preparing scientific technical reports.

- Support Environmental activities by conducting Inspections, preparing / Reviewing reports and checking industry environmental compliance with RC requirements and determining the extent of deviation from the RC regulations and standards.
- Provides necessary advice and guidance to meet RC goals and objects and keep EPCD current concerning international regulatory standards
- Prepare Notice of Non-compliance letters to industries and administers the preparations and determinations of fines and penalty values based on the extent of industry violations and non - adherence
- Performs periodic inspections on facilities (active and during construction) and areas to ensure environmental compliance.
- Evaluates self-monitoring reports and other technical reports submitted by industries and coordinates with other sections regarding violations.
- Review and evaluate submitted data from investors.
- Check environmental Impact Assessments studies submitted by new industrial investors and existing Industries seeking a renewal of their Environmental Permit to Operate.
- Participates in periodic revision of RC Environmental regulations and standards and implement the same in line with Kingdoms laws, international regulations and standards and best practices.
- Evaluates the impact of air, water, soil and marine and terrestrial ecology and other environmentally sensitive areas.
- Sets and monitors the Royal Commissions (RC) Environmental regulations and standards in line with the government’s environmental standards and best practices.
- Develops scoops of work for environmental studies.
- Manages subcontractors performing environmental studies and reviews/comments on work products.
- Supports planning efforts for environmental activates associated with JCPDI City Master Plan
List the background experience required for the position
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Related Science).
- Experience of around 5 years in relevant positions within the environmental field.
- Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) regulations and procedures.
- Knowledge of safety and environment regulations followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Conversant with pollution measurement and control equipment.
- Knowledge of pollution recovery procedures for different environmental hazards.
- General knowledge of waste disposal and prevention methods.
- Familiar with health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices.
- Time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant computer proficiency, experience in using Microsoft Office tools and/or any relevant software.
