Food Laboratory Technician

Reports to: Manager, Ingredient Science and Technology

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical laboratory procedures in the chemical and microbiology labs.
• Collect and maintain testing data on projects and ensures all proper documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide project status information to the relevant team members.
• Prepare and develop standard operation procedures for laboratory testing.
• Maintain equipment and manage consumable supplies within the laboratories.
• Prepare reports with data obtained in trials.
• Support R&D processing activities and analysis for cross-functional projects.
• Train personnel as required on all techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
