Responsibilities:

  • Be on time
  • Be responsible for the scheduled shifts(meaning no cancellation over minor event)
  • Be professional at communicating with others
  • Be proactive with the challenging behaviours
  • Be respectful of the educational materials/toys at the centre
  • Enjoy working with children and teenagers
  • Willing to learn
  • Work pleasantly as a team
  • Acceptable to feedbacks and improve based on them
  • Frequent updates to the Behaviour Consultant
  • Provide the individual support at preschool/daycare setting(Travel time will be paid but not required)
  • Provide the individual sessions with clients at different ages
  • Provide social skills programs (Only Senior BI)
  • Join the required team meetings/staff meetings
  • Follow the guided plans including data collection and session notes
  • Establish a therapeutic positive relationship with the caregivers
  • Build a strong rapport with the clients to provide the enjoyable learning environment.
  • Assist the visual support making

BI Requirements

  • At least 19 years old
  • Enrolled in or planning to enroll in the related educational programs (Not required)
  • Must have BI related work experience equivalent to 6 months of full-time
  • Adult level of responsibility
  • Passion to grow as a professional!
  • Be available for minimum 15 hours/week

SBI Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of BI related work experience
  • Enrolled in the related educational program (preferred)
  • Professional level of responsibility
  • Passion to grow further as a professional
  • Be available for minimum of 15 hours/week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 15-35 per week

Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
