TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform the Material Receiving function
- Receive incoming aircraft parts and other supplies delivered to Cargolux premises
- Inspect packages for signs of shipping damage
- Open and unpack shipments
- Control Part numbers, Serial numbers and quantities in adherence to the shipper’s invoice and the Cargolux order
- Raise a Receiving Discrepancy report and updating the master log as required
- Prepare the shipment for Quality Control acceptance
- Enter the receiving data into the TRAX system
- Maintain filing records
- Work closely with connected departments
- Maintain the work area and its surroundings in a clean and orderly state
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education, accomplished apprenticeship in a technical field or equivalent
- Be customer focused and have a co-operative attitude
- Have experience or at least an aptitude in forklift driving. Training will in any case be given and test passed.
- Have good communication skills and able to work with a team
- Fluency in written and spoken English, French would be considered as a distinct advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)
- Hold a valid B class driving license. A C class license would be considered a distinct advantage
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Temporary contract for 12 months based in Luxembourg
- Flexibility of working hours is required
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
