What will you be doing?

As the Electrical Techncian you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical plant, machinery and infrastructure are appropriately maintained. This role is not likely to require 24/7 on call support, so if you’re looking for better work/life balance, your hours will be Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Bringing your experience to the role you will have the opportunity to roll out improvement projects and influence best practice. You will lead and action effective preventative maintenance programs and utilise contractors for specialty tasks.

What do you need?

This roles requires a QLD electrical licence and experience with PLC’s and automation such as Siemens and Allan-Bradley. If you hold Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets this would be advantageous. Other qualities we are searching for include:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the FMCG sector
  • Trade Qualified Electrician with strong diagnostic skills
  • Previous experience working with internal teams to achieve KPI's
  • An organised approach with experience developing maintenance schedules
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be safety focused to promote a culture of safety
