Medical Receptionist, Pretoria
Our client a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in Pretoria is seeking to recruit a medical receptionist.
Responsibilities;
- Answering calls
- Make appointments
- Managing the diary
- Addressing queries
- Managing the mobile phone after hours
- Ensure all forms are completed prior to consultations
- Process payments
- Generate quotations and produce invoices or in-room and theatre procedures
- Keep an accurate record of all cash transactions
- Purchase stationary and groceries for the practice if required
- Generate financial reports for the accountant at month end
- Theatre bookings
- Communicate with the patients, anaesthetist, hospital and assistants
- Assist patients with authorisations
- Assist bureau with account queries
- Order skincare products as required, load onto the system, perform routine stocktake, update prices on the system, product and website
- Assist Doctor with personal appointment bookings
Qualification and Requirements:
- Matric
- At least 3 years experience in a similar medical receptionist position
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge of Vericlaim is and advantage (Vericlaim)
