- We are looking for a highly skilled Global Payroll & Expense Accounting Associate to join our growing Global India
Finance Team. This full-time position will be supporting Payroll Team lead, responsible for overseeing and
managing the payroll postings for our employees across multiple countries - including supporting Internal expenses,
bonus accruals and assisting with building reports for management and stakeholders and much more. This position
requires a strong background in payroll management, compliance, reporting, and communication skills. This role will report to Global Payroll & Expense Accounting - Team Lead
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Posting monthly Internal payroll and bonus accruals for employees across 40+ countries in alignment with
departmental and employee data. - Accurately enter and post expenses into the accounting system NetSuite, ensuring proper coding and
documentation. - Posting Credit card expenses for Internal employees into NetSuite, also performing reconciliation for
Credit card. - Post and reconcile expense accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile payroll postings with payroll reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Assist the Team Lead with other payroll-related tasks as needed.
- Assist the team Lead in establishing payroll policies and controls, as well as adhering to them.
- Work closely with the Payroll Team and the Regional Finance Team under the supervision of the Team Lead to ensure that payroll data is accurate and timely posted with no errors.
- Assist with internal and external audits for all relevant global entities.
- Support and prepare key Finance trackers, Net Payment report and other reports required by
management. - Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll postings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate in Accounting/Finance or equivalent working experience required.
- 3+ years of experience in global payroll processes, general ledger postings, Internal Expenses and
reporting. - Experience managing payroll for employees across multiple countries and currencies, within a
multinational, global organization. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional
teams and external vendors. - Ability to work with a wider global team and across different time zones as required.
- Technology-literate, including Microsoft Suite and NetSuite.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a well-organized
manner. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle a variety of tasks.Ability to take ownership and carry accountability even when working closely with the team.
