Description
A well-known tier one major Construction contractor is looking for a Cooperate Quality Assurance Quality Control Director to be based in Cairo Egypt and directly report into the CEO.
The Cooperate Quality Assurance Quality Control Director oversee the overall Quality Policy and take off responsibility regarding the Quality Strategy to take all decisions required in order to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management Systems in accordance with the ISO requirements. Maintain ISO certification that includes changes / upgrades, implementation, documentation, training, and audits
- QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS Education/ Qualifications BSC or MSC Mechanical Engineering /Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- Professional Certification ISO Certificates/ IRCA Certificates is a plus Member of Charted Quality Institute (CQI) is a plus Audit Management qualified (Lead Auditor)
- Work Experience 25 years' experience in the Quality field out of which at least 10 years in a Senior quality Management position
- Language Excellent command of English Language

Strategic planning for all quality decisions across the company.
- Direct the coordination and organise Third Party Audits to keep the Company Certification
- Formulate Quality Policy and ensure regular reviews and updates to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management.
- Monitor all periodic reports prepared by department Managers and consolidate the Projects Quality Reports.
- Plan and Monitor regular quality audits on project's processes, procedures, responsibilities, authorities, to improve processes quality and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure that effective Quality Control Systems are in place and fully-implemented.
- Direct quality awareness and quality training programs in all projects to support effective deployment of the company's Quality Management System.
- Pay visits to all company projects locations and give support to the quality personal.
- Ensure that all the technology needs of the department are identified and that the department processes are performed efficiently and cost effectively (in coordination with the IT department).
- Adire the CEO on any issues that requires his decision in order to support the Quality Management System.
- Develop and maintain Quality Control and Quality Assurance manual and quality processes which can include standard procedures (e.g., ISO standards).
- Control, maintain and approve the final quality documentation manual in order to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Monitor all quality related activities on the projects.
- Direct all internal and external Audits and lead process improvement initiatives, such as quality audits, gap analysis, performance indicators and management reviews, and identify and prioritise improvement opportunities.
- Define client's quality requirements are specified to the projects documentation submittals and ensure settlement of all customer complaints.
- Control and maintain the project's Quality Management System documentation prior to project commencement.
- Resolve and help in solving any quality issues across the company areas and projects.
- Monitor all periodic status reports prepared by project Quality Managers.
- Ensure company standards as outlined in quality control (assurance) manual are effectively implemented.
- Ensure that employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.
