Description
Summary:
The MEP Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings. This includes working with architects and other engineers to develop plans and specifications, overseeing the installation of equipment and systems, and ensuring that all work is completed to code and meets the needs of the client.
Responsibilities:
- Develop plans and specifications for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Oversee the installation of equipment and systems
- Inspect and test equipment and systems to ensure they are operating properly
- Maintain records of all work
- Work with architects and other engineers to ensure that systems are coordinated and compatible
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends in MEP engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering
- 3+ years of experience in MEP engineering
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Skills and Qualities:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Salary: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼12,000.00 per month
