ABOUT THE ROLE
As a leader in Plant Biology, you play a crucial role in setting up the scientific vision and strategy of this venture-backed startup. You will be leading the science aspect and you are determined to take scientific innovation from the lab to commercialisation success.
- Design, manage and conduct scientific experiments from R&D to product development
- Set up the lab space capabilities aligned with the company objectives and co-develop the scientific & technical vision
- Build and lead a team of scientists to develop the product and ensure a viable & successful go-to-market strategy
- Lead partnerships, communicate and connect with various stakeholders - from academics, research institutions, laboratories, investors to large audience
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- PhD in Plant Biotechnology, Plant Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology or related fields
- Passion for food & beverage, sustainability and entrepreneurship
- Experience working in plant cell and tissue culture
- Experience leading successfully a diverse and international scientific team
- Prior experience in plant cell fermentation, cellular agriculture or biotech startupis a plus
- Hands-on attitude, lean communication and entrepreneurial mindset
