Job Summary
Responsible for reviewing and assisting Finance Manager on financial accounting for properties managed by COMO Hotels and Resorts (Asia) Pte. Ltd (CHRA)
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible in assisting Finance Manager on daily task assign.
- Responsible in reviewing month end payroll from properties.
- To assist in reviewing month end reporting pack sent by properties:
- monitoring the actual performance against budgets of the entities by establishing financial benchmarks, ratios and relevant key performance indicators
- highlight key matters to Finance Manager/Group Finance Manager after the review
- Prepare and submit on a timely basis accurate monthly Consolidated Cash Balance and Hotel Performance Reports for Group Finance Manager review before submission to Management.
- To assist in annual budget review and consolidation.
- To assist in internal audit by ensuring proper internal controls are in place and in compliance.
Requirement
- Degree in Accountancy, or equivalent professional qualifications.
- 5 years of relevant experience in Accountant roles, preferably in hotel industry.
- Experienced in Hospitality, but not essential.
- Meticulous and possesses an analytical mind, hands-on and “can-do” attitude
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
