A Kind Place is a psychological private practice with a group of clinicians, coaches, and trainers. Our small team keeps us close and everyone is very friendly. We believe in empowering our employees to learn more and get hands-on experience with things that they might want to learn or try.
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Conduct classes for children and adults with special needs, teaching them various social, and academic skills using different classroom techniques
Help coordinate and schedule trainers for classes
learn to assist assessments for special needs and. Reare curriculum
Do research and meet up with potential collaborators on Psychology projects
Help with creating and editing presentatons for psychologists
Other ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
This role is suitable for you, if you are a fresh graduate with a degree or diploma in (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counselling, Special Education, etc).
Working hours might vary each week. We work on a hybrid working model, where you have to be onsite during trainings and events but can work from home to complete other tasks.
1-2 years of experience working with trainers and adults with intellectual disabilities is preferred.
