Description
CodeGym is an online platform that provides Java programming courses to over 2.5 million users globally. The company is seeking a Java developer Course Mentor to conduct online lectures.
Requirements:
- excellent knowledge of Tamil (C1+) and spoken English (B2+)
- strong knowledge of Java and programming concepts
- charismatic and able to explain complex concepts in simple terms
- a great programmer with excellent teaching skills, or a great teacher with excellent programming skills
- at least two years of experience in Java development (preferred)
- experience with Spring, Spring Boot, databases, and Hibernate (preferred)
- basic knowledge of algorithms (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- conduct group training sessions for students
- assist students in understanding course materials and answering questions on Slack
- provide group consultations, analyze problem-solving techniques, and explain the theory
- motivate and inspire students during the course
Class format:
- online via Zoom
- twice a week, 2-hour sessions
- mentors may lead several groups of students simultaneously
