Manager - Aluminum

JCGROUP-Manama, Bahrain

Responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance to all technical members of the team, relating to designing, fabrication, fixing of Aluminum products/ items/ structures.
  • Evaluates existing company machinery/ equipment/ workforce etc. and identify ways to improve them.
  • Be updated, understand and implement compliance documentation received from consultant/ clients.
  • Be updated, understand and implement related regulatory directives.
  • Review and analyze raw material specifications of all requirements.
  • Draft technical details ensuring all relevant information are captured in a clear format.
  • Execute new technical integrations such as fabrication techniques, updated machinery/ equipment etc. to support related activities.
  • Provides technical product support, when required.
  • Implements new and efficient instrument integrations.
  • Resolves and responds to customer issues and queries.
  • Prepares shop drawing (Doors, windows, Curtain wall, Aluminum composite panel and Steel structure if any) and all technical drawing as per the specification for Client and Consultant.
  • Prepare materials list, accessories list, cutting list etc.
  • Co-ordinates with purchase department for purchase of all related material.
  • Train, guide and mentor technical staff in their day to day functions.
  • Ensures all work are completed within time and budgetary limits.
  • Prepares plan/schedule for projects, production and executions.
  • Plans day to day activities for factory and site.
  • Arranges regular meeting with Site Engineers, Clients and their representatives preparing progress report as required.
  • Performs ad-hoc tasks as and when requested by manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering.
  • At least 5-year experience in similar role within the Construction Industry or similar environment.
  • AUTOCAD or its equivalent experience.
  • Skill in estimating time and material requirements of work projects assigned.
  • Must have good knowledge about International Aluminum profile like Technal, Installux, Reynaers and Balexco etc.
  • Must have good knowledge about Aluminum Composite Panel and Steel structure work.
  • Must have good team building.
  • Skill in both verbal and written communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months

Salary: From BD300.000 per month

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

  • Aluminium: 5 years (preferred)
