Responsibilities

As a Web Scraper at Raptor Labs, your role is pivotal in constructing ChatMRO. You will:
1. Develop effective web scraping solutions using Python frameworks such as Scrapy, Beautiful Soup (bs4), and Selenium.

  1. Collaborate with Data Scientists to ensure the availability of high-quality, structured data for training Language Models.

  2. Contribute to automated data collection pipelines and enhance existing scrapers.

  3. Utilize multithreading and concurrency techniques to optimize processes.

  4. Create scalable systems and databases to handle growing data needs.

  5. Implement security measures against scraping risks, including proxies, rotating User-Agent headers, and rate limit management.


Skills Required:
1. Proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of web scraping frameworks: Scrapy, Beautiful Soup (bs4), and Selenium.

  1. Proven experience in designing web scraping solutions for various sources, including dynamic websites.

  2. Familiarity with multithreading and concurrency concepts for efficient data collection.

  3. Strong attention to detail and adeptness in troubleshooting.

  4. Ability to work with large datasets and expertise in data scraping and cleaning techniques.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey findings to a non-technical audience.

  6. Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.


Salary: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
