Responsibilities:
Foreign Entities Administration and Relationship:

  • Oversee the financial operations of foreign subsidiaries and ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Manage relationships with local financial institutions, authorities, and business partners for foreign entities.
  • Lead and follow-up the establishment of new foreign and local entities.

Group Insurance:

  • Manage the group insurance programs, ensuring adequate coverage and competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to address insurance-related matters and claims.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Implement effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

Group Consolidation:

  • Lead the process of consolidating financial statements for the entire group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Provide commentary and presentations on the group consolidation data.
  • Align the finance teams on the proper way and periods to report for the group consolidation activities.

Egyptian Tax and Adviser Relationship:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Egyptian tax matters, coordinating with tax advisers to optimize tax strategies and compliance.

Group Audits:

  • Act as the main liaison with external auditors for the group's financial audits, ensuring timely and successful audit processes.
  • Track and monitor all audit action logs and make sure these are delivered on time.
  • Lead internal audits both planned and Ad Hoc.

Group G&A Expenses:

  • Monitor and analyze the group's General and administrative expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing insights to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Professional finance qualification such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in corporate finance, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis.
  • Experience with M&A transactions and due diligence processes is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Currently holds or has held a position as a Head of Finance or a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrates a track record of being results-driven, with the ability to achieve financial objectives and drive performance improvement.
  • Capable of overseeing end-to-end financial processes, from planning to execution and reporting.
  • Exhibits excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of two or more finance professionals.
