Description
Responsibilities:
- Editing video footage for TikTok and Youtube in a way that is invisible to the audience.
- Taking a brief to grasp the production team's needs and specifications
- Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage
- Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
- Consult with stakeholders from production to the post-production process.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven min 1-year work experience as a Video Editor.
- Preferably Bachelor's degree.
- Fluent in English, both in oral and written is a plus.
- Have an understanding of TikTok and its algorithm.
- Have experience in editing footage for TikTok
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing on TikTok.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.
- Able to join immediately and can follow WFO policy (Jakarta Barat)
