Skills, responsibilities & experience
- 4+ years experience in a bar manager role or similar
- A deep understanding of bar operations, procedures and systems.
- Creative beverage skills preferred
- Extensive bar service experience and the ability to lead from the front
- Responsible for ensuring product, staff, and venue are all ready for the week.
- Strong understanding to team building and leadership
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- The ability to define expectations, then report and deliver on these
- Some late nights and weekend work will be required
- Proficiency in managing budgets, inventory, and financial aspects of the bar
- Critical thinker who can be responsible for the venue
- Knowledge of and adherence to relevant health and safety regulations and licensing laws
- As the 2iC, support the General Manager in delivering exceptional bar product to our guests
