Job Title: Support Worker/Caregiver

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one support to the client, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the client and their family.
• Facilitate community integration by accompanying the client to appointments, social events, and other outings.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behaviour to the management team.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and medical practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Attend regular training sessions and team meetings to enhance professional development.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Support Worker, preferably with high-complexity clients.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and patient approach to care.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
