Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Supplier Management:

  • Identify and source garment suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors based on quality, price, and production capacity requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to quality standards.

  1. Product Development:

  • Work closely with designers and product development teams to translate customer requirements and market trends into viable garment designs and prototypes.
  • Manage the product development process, including sample approval, fit sessions, and material sourcing.

  1. Order Processing and Production Planning:

  • Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order specifications.
  • Develop production plans and timelines in coordination with suppliers and production teams to meet delivery deadlines.

  1. Quality Control and Assurance:

  • Implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure that garments meet specified quality requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct inspections at various stages of production to identify and address any quality issues promptly.

  1. Costing and Pricing Analysis:

  • Conduct costing analysis for garment production, including materials, labor, and overhead costs, to determine pricing strategies and profitability.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

  1. Logistics and Supply Chain Management:

  • Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements for import and export of garments, including transportation, customs clearance, and documentation.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays as needed.

  1. Market Research and Trend Analysis:

  • Stay updated on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities in the garment industry.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and business expansion.

  1. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on order status, resolving issues, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and foster long-term partnerships.

Qualifications:
. Must have fluent english communication.

  • Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the garment export-import industry, with a strong understanding of garment production processes and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of garment manufacturing techniques, materials, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and ERP systems for order processing and inventory management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Salary: ₹14,421.02 - ₹30,000.00 per month
