Prestigious small private estate has a vacancy for a live-out Qualified Gardener
- Monday - Friday
- 40 hour week
- Location - near Henley-on-Thames
- Start date asap
- Salary range £ 37,000 - £ 42,000 gross p.a (dependent on qualifications and experience)
This is a role for a Sole Gardener. The Gardens are established and comprise of herbaceous beds, cut flower beds, ornamental hedging, walled gardens, lawns and a swimming pool.
Duties will include all round general garden maintenance, propagation, compost management, swimming pool basic maintenance etc
Essential requirements:
- Relevant previous experience working as a private estate gardener
- Must have RHS gardening qualifications or similar
- Propagation experience
- A good knowledge of plants and flowers
- Confident in managing the annual calendar of the garden
- Proven track record and longevity in former roles with excellent references
- Car driver and owner
- Physically fit and active
- Smart and tidy appearance
- Cheerful disposition
- Hard working
- Able to work on own effectively
- Good work attitude
- Polite and respectful at all times
- Live locally
- Dog lover
- Good IT skills as must be able to keep records
