The Accountant is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records and statements for companies and organizations. The Accountant tracks, records, and categorizes financial transactions, expenses, and revenues, and prepares periodic financial reports such as financial statements and tax reports.
The duties of an Accountant also include verifying the accuracy and integrity of financial records and ensuring compliance with established accounting standards. The Accountant also prepares budgets and financial planning and provides financial advice to management on cost control and achieving the company's financial goals.
In addition, the Accountant prepares and submits tax reports and tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws. The Accountant may also provide advice on tax planning to maximize the benefits of available tax incentives.
Furthermore, the Accountant deals with internal and external auditing of the company. They examine financial records and transactions, verify their accuracy, and work to identify and correct any potential errors or violations.
