Primary purpose of job
Processes, performs & ensures QatarEnergy's payroll activities pertaining to QatarEnergy employees are conducted,
recorded and accounted in accordance with QatarEnergy personnel procedure manual and other corporate policies and
procedures relevant to Payroll Section under strict confidential environment.
Maintain job workflow in the Payroll Section under the Supervision of Head of the Section. Takes a lead role in providing
guidance, supports & other critical information to the staff for improving current systems and enhance the efficiency and
effectiveness of service delivery in the section.
Experience & Skills:
- At least 15 years of experience in medium to large organization with adequate exposure to accounting & finance functions.- Previous experience in similar capacity in an oil and gas industry would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of systems in a computerized business environment which includes knowledge and experience in MS Office
packages, SAP or similar advanced ERP systems Proven analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent people management, leadership, and coaching skills.
Education
Master of Finance / Commerce / Business / Accounting and globally accepted professional qualifications like a Certified
Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant etc.
