Parsons is looking for a *Senior Cost Manager *to join our team in Riyadh!
In this role you will get to lead a wide variety of difficult estimating activities on an assigned project. The Senior Cost Manager at this level independently completes complicated assignments independently, and regularly exercises their familiarity of company and project practices and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Manages a team of estimators to ensure alignment and production is in place
- Review material takeoffs on complex projects, drawings, and plans. Reviews takeoffs provided by the Engineering Department and checks for mathematical and technical accuracy.
- Prepares detailed breakdown of components and elements of estimates for systems and subsystems.
- Reviews contractual documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and scope changes.
- Assigns material costs and staffing costs to the takeoffs. Obtains telephone quotes for materials and services.
- Accumulates, evaluates, and documents historical cost data and construction procedures and methods in order to maintain current estimating standards and databases.
- Provides training and guidance to assigned personnel in the preparation, revision, and production of cost estimates.
- Participates in client presentations as required.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field)
- 15 years of related work experience involving typical estimating activities.
