Description
How you will contribute:
- Deliver performance objectives in line with Takeda’s PTRB priorities and drive change initiatives to achieve these.
- Develop financial vision and strategy of the OpU to achieve business goals and maximize financial performance.
- Provide advice and guidance on the financial strategy to the OpU Finance and Leadership Teams to support business decisions and to enable the OpU to reach its financial objectives.
- Responsible for LRF (Long Range Forecast) process, providing insights into year-over-year changes in COGS model in close collaboration with Finance Strategy & Transformation Lead
- Support ad-hoc strategic finance items (e.g. MSC decisions) as needed
- Actively engage and collaborate with the OpU Finance Excellence Lead in supporting our Digital Finance roadmap by defining global best in class solutions and copying with pride
- Collaborate across all GMS regions and OpUs to align and share best-in-class learnings and demonstrate the significant benefits they offer in order to strive for globally standardized processes.
- Support site reviews, actively ask questions and provoke discussion until having the full level of comfort with the site financials in collaboration with the business performance lead.
- Leads the mission of business partnering by providing coaching and mentoring to SM&O OpU finance teams. Elimination of non-value adding activities in preparation for TBS transfer and post TBS improvements
- Excellent at basic analytics, providing insights and interpretations, proposing ad-hoc investigations and action plans.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor’s Degree Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
- CIMA Qualified with >10 years’ post qualification experience.
- Fluent in written and spoken English at the business lever
- Manufacturing finance experience at both site and regional level essential
- Pharmaceutical knowledge and experience is beneficial
