Overview:
The purpose of this job is to lead Egypt Snacks category ( MRO& Fleet) across PepsiCo Snacks Operating Companies, managing a total spend of $15MM & more, through:
(1) Defining and executing Egypt snacks category strategy, contract management and supplier relationship management
(2) Measuring and Improving Performance
(3) Achieving Annual Plans and Delivering Productivity.
Responsibilities:
- In close collaboration with the Category Lead, draft & implement NEA Capital category strategy, using systematic 7 step strategic sourcing approach.
- Participate and lead cross-functional category team, using RACI model.
- Manage MRO &fleet categories.
. Work closely with Sector & Global teams:
- To develop category annual and long-term strategic sourcing targets
- Plan and monitor capital category Productivity / Savings (for the current year and over SBP).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives from procurement side for the category.
- Evaluate & evolve sourcing strategy based on changing market conditions and provide inputs during strategic sourcing activities, including internal and external analysis and negotiations.
- Ensure implementation of sourcing strategy / plans, compliance monitored, and benefits tracked (in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and in line with the procurement policy & practices
- Closely liaise with business Key stakeholders in snack plants in region.
- Ensure implementation of best-in-class sourcing tools, relevant to the category.
- Lead capital category negotiations and manage contracts with suppliers
- Track supply market, share evolving category trends, monitor supplier performance and share benchmarking against industry / market standards.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of Strategic Sourcing experience in FMCG.
- MRO Category Sourcing Experience is a must.
- Experience in using advanced sourcing methodologies/ tools.
- Regional sourcing experience in a diverse center-led organization.
- Skilled in managing a dispersed team of business stakeholders in different countries; strong selling skills.
- Bachelor’s degrees in Business or Engineering. Masters preferred.
- Multilingual and multinational experience preferred.
- Good understanding of MEA corporate objectives, MWBs & key definitions e.g. sales volumes, NPS, RIG and NOPBT, Productivity, Cash flow.

. Financial understanding: Understanding Key business drivers, budget and forecasting
. Business Intelligence: Competitors’ & Supplier's strengths and weaknesses
